A friend took me by car from Progresso Village, Corozal District to Chetumal. We arrived at Chetumal around 8 or 9pm. They dropped me off and returned to Belize. The bus(ADO) left later that night and arrived to connect with a local shuttle bus to the airport for my morning flight back to Houston. That was about two years ago. I have Belizian friends that regularly drive to Belize through Mexico. They transport vehicles and truckload freight. I sometimes travel down with them. I do not remember the details as well as you do, but I have traveled from Chetumal to Houston,Texas for further connections.
