Comment Guidelines
Because this is a new blog, these guidelines may change often as I figure this out.
In order to comment:
You must first register with Wordpress and create a user name and password. The easiest way to get there is to try to leave a comment on any blogpost and you will be asked to either login or create a login ID. You enter a username and then are sent an email with a temporary password, which you can then change to something you can remember. You then login, and can comment on anything on the blog.
In order to change the image (called an “avatar”) associated with your posts:
The default avatar is a randomly generated geometric pattern. I think of it as a quilt. If you want to use your own avatar, you’ll need to go to Wordpress’ website to create an account. Then follow the instructions to upload your own avatar. It will automatically be used throughout Wordpress.
In the interest of keeping the blog readable, enjoyable, and civilized, here are some guidelines to keep in mind when posting comments:
Being Offensive – I reserve the right to remove any comments which I find offensive. BelizeAdventure.com is a benevolent dictatorship and I will make the final call.
Sharing a Post – If you want to share one of our posts, please include part of the post, and then link back to belizeadventure.com.
Staying On Topic – Please keep comments on topic.
Links – At this point links are not allowed on this blog.
