Lucy Wallingford

Lucy joined Slickrock Adventures in 1986. As Vice-President and office manager, Lucy was involved with the development of our Belize programs from their inception. She guides at Glover’s Reef and is responsible for our renowned menu. An avid backpacker, she spends her spare time hiking the desert terrain near Moab, Utah.

Cully Erdman

As founder of Slickrock, Cully has extensive experience leading kayak trips with an emphasis on instruction and participation. An avid adventurer, he has led numerous expeditions and has been featured in shows on ABC, ESPN, TBS and Discovery. With 37 years of guiding experience, he has extensive knowledge to share. Cully was named one of the top 100 Paddlers of the Century by Paddler magazine in their year-end 2000 issue. Cully spends every summer at The Gorge and often instructs in our windsurfing school.

Charlie Woodward

Charlie is both a manager and a guide for us. He spends most of his year in Idaho. He works as a geologist, community college teacher, outdoor educator, and outdoor adventure guide. He also designs and installs renewable energy power systems– solar, wind and hydro–through his own business. He discovered sea kayaking and warm-whitewater on a trip to New Zealand in 1990. This is Charlie’s eleventh year of guiding for us in Belize.

Victor Myers

Victor has been working for Slickrock for eight years as an Island Manager and Trip leader. When not in Belize he pursues other boating and surfing destinations. He summers in Idaho, British Columbia and Alaska and winters in the tropics. Other careers include: owner/designer/builder of Corridor Paddle Boards, designer and builder of vegetable oil fuel systems, and all around water sports Hobo. Look for him living in a van down by the river near you. “I moonlight as a motivational speaker…. Its for the kids. I like to think of myself as a one man wolf pack”.

Franklin Seal

Franklin is working in Slickrock’s Moab office increasing the effectiveness of our online ad campaigns and helping to expand our presence on social networks. He has lived in Moab since 1992 and his numerous careers (now going on #14) have included staff writer at the local newspaper and ghostwriter of a book on cinematherapy. He visited the island for a week in 2003 and almost never left the water.
